About Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

The topic here will be about CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), which is currently the most effective treatment for OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder).

Cognitive-behavioral therapy is an action-oriented form of psychosocial therapy that
assumes that maladaptive, or faulty, thinking patterns cause maladaptive behavior and “negative”
emotions (source: Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health Services).

Our aim is to have this as a platform for those affected by OCD to be able to ask questions or share their experiences regarding CBT, and to provide a healthy environment where people can support each other and each other’s road to recovery.

We will be adding more and more content as our community grows!

Please share your experiences or any questions you may have about CBT, and we will (along with the community) try our best to help you out!
