Can you guys recommend a book or more that changed your perspective about improving our mental health? I want to read something good but am confused by so many books available. I prefer a physical book and not only an online pdf version.
Hi, Travis. This is one of my all-time favorites: The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma by Bessel van der Kolk.
It offers excellent suggestions about healing and understanding traumatic stress.
A long time ago, I read “Lost Connections: Uncovering the Real Causes of Depression and the Unexpected Solutions by Johann Hari” and quite liked it. You should give it a try.
