Maybe deep brain stimulation helps OCD patients, but it is an invasive procedure. Also, the possible complications after it are not to be omitted.

I guess deep brain stimulation is done on patients with severe OCD, which significantly impacts their lives. Regarding the complications, I understand it doesn’t sound so safe either. However, if the percentage of complications is low enough, it doesn’t make it any different than any other operation or invasive procedure.
