Psychedelics for OCD

It’s a mixed bag. I am not one of those who like to express their opinion necessarily. I often find the younger boys and girls not interested in hearing much wisdom, and I get it. They want to be young and enjoy life.

Fair enough. But somehow, I remember my peers to have been way different than those of the same age nowadays. I can sense a lot of narcissism, nepotism, and lack of direction in young people today. No surprise why the mental disorders are on the rise.

Well, look at all the events during the last few years. It’s not the best times to grow up because most young people have difficulties taking the best out of the opportunities instead of falling into the traps first.

I understand that also, but if you think about it, times have never been good for long. There is a crisis almost every ten years. People should learn to adapt better than complain about the world’s situations.

You are right also, but what was before is very different from the information apolysis happening today. People are overwhelmed, overstimulated, and deceived. That’s horrible.

You forgot to mention brainwashed too. Now seriously - I agree that we live in relatively challenging times, and I see how some of my friends and relatives go delusional about many things.

I find myself delusional, too, from time to time. That’s the worst thing - when I can’t trust my own body and mind. Also, I have no idea how to get it back.

Experiencing periods of delusion can be super distressing, and I am talking from experience too. If you feel you have lost the connection between body and mind, try taking a break for a couple of days and going on a retreat. If it doesn’t help, talking with a specialist might be essential.

I think that taking a break and going on a retreat can be a helpful way to step back, relax, and gain some clarity. Disconnecting from the stressors of daily life and spending time in a calm environment may provide some relief.

We quickly found a solution  I hope you will outline more positive sides from your experience after you go.

I have it scheduled for nearly a month from now. I cannot do it earlier due to work and family responsibilities, but I honestly can’t wait for the month to pass. It’s high time I do something for myself only.

I like your current mood, and of course, for your family to be happy, you have to be happy in the first place

I share your philosophy about that. A few years ago, I heard that the woman should be calm and happy, and then all the family members will follow.

Indeed, that’s the key to a happy family. I hope more women realize it and prioritize their well-being first, which will contribute to the peace of the whole family.

Precisely. We must take care of ourselves first to be useful to others, too.

I share the same opinion, too. Instead of keeping ourselves fully invested in others and daily reminding them how much we do for them (experience from my family), we should take care of ourselves first, which will make the whole family happy.

True. You couldn’t grasp it better. People should more often reflect on their actions and see how they look in the eyes of others.

Yeah, regular self-reflection and considering how others perceive our actions can lead to personal growth, improved relationships, and greater empathy.
