OCD and fear of infecting others with COVID-19

I try almost every time. What is the best way you found to divert the intrusive thoughts when they suddenly appear?

I start thinking about the tasks I have to do and get ecstatic in a way that shifts my focus quickly. Most of the time, it works fine for me.

I tried that a few minutes ago and maybe got the idea. However, I need to practice for it to work to achieve the way it works for you.

Obviously, you have to do that. Not many resilience qualities against ocd are built naturally. You need to put in some effort.

I purely understand that and will take the time to try harder. I just shared my results from my first experience.

Of course, personal growth often involves trial and error, and it’s okay to seek help and make adjustments along the way.
